Crime Trailer

Montage of several clips -

• montage of several clips - dirt being shovelled in grave 
• shot from inside boot - high angles and low angles to assert dominance 
• Costume - more of a gangster theme - suits etc.
• Shot/located in London - following an urban gritty theme 
• Use car boot to get a steady shot (front on) of someone running towards camera
• use a variety of close up shots in order to create more of sense of ambiguity 
• Possibly use pov shot from the grave and the boot of the car in order to convey the victims viewpoints

Do not convey much sense of story in order to create ambiguity during the duration of the trailer

• Hint at genre mainly and convey it so that fans have a clear indication of what to expect from the film
• Low lighting - dimly lit in order to create atmosphere and genre
• Possibly use a voice over- hinting at plot
• Use makeup heavily to convey violence again hinting at the genre 
• Use one or two main actors if possible 
• Gritty soundtrack - dark mysterious etc. in order again to confirm genre 
• build up to the end of the trailer before revealing the title at the end
• dark colour grading - go along with the theme and gritty feel to the trailer 
• Use a voice over to create the main plot of the trailer/film allowing the film to act as a visual aid for this information 
• Use props heavily in order to convey genre - knuckle dusters, other weapons etc.
• Using intense music in order to create a serious, uncommercial effect
• Using violence in a more realistic way

Another possible idea is to use a more plot based trailer - convey the main story of the film throughout the trailer rather than hinting at the plot

Use a more chronological order to the clips

Introducing characters (actors) also throughout 

Use partly voice over and partly music
Not using intense music like before making the film seem less dark 

Could shoot more normal trailer not revealing the genre until the end of the trailer
Using more 'normal' day to day life style shots with an unusual scene at the end, possibly showing violence towards someone, using a voice over to make the trailer more interesting.
More urban youth crime film, such as Ill Manors
Again  shoot in London/urban areas
